S0101 GAY HEAD - Sidewheel passenger and freight steamer. She was built in 1891 at Philadelphia for service to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. In 1924 she was sold to New York interests and operated briefly as an excursion boat under the name of PASTIME. She was scrapped in 1931. This view shows her leaving Woods Hole, MA in a heavy fog.
