S0009 CITY OF NEW YORK - New York sidewheel excursion boat. She was built as TALBOT at Sparrows Point, MD in 1912 as a night boat for Chesapeake Bay. She was sold to the Keansburg Steamboat Comany in the late 30s and converted to a day boat for service between New York and Keansburg, NJ. Her name was changed at that time. While laid up for the winter she was blown ashore during a severe storm and was scrapped where she lay. She is shown passing Staten Island.
