S0119 ALBANY - Hudson River Day Line sidewheel steamer. She was built at Wilmington, DE in 1880 for service between New York and Albany. In 1934 she was sold and taken to the Potomac River. Under the name POTOMAC she operated until 1948. Her walking beam is now at the Mariners' Museum and her iron hull is serving as a breakwater. This view shows some of her crew on the quarter deck. Seated second from right is her Chief Engineer Philip St. Pierre.
